The Slack integration is where the chasing happens. Floowed asks for what a case is missing in the channel your team already uses, takes the answer or the file straight back into the case, and posts the outcome when it lands.

Slack is one way in, next to the Floowed Dashboard, and a chase and approval surface rather than a source of truth. The app reads history and files only in conversations it has been added to. A button press reaches us because Slack posts it to our endpoint, not because we poll. By default members can install apps; if your workspace requires app approval, an admin approves it first.

- Gather
A hire is marked complete in Workday. Floowed opens the case with the worker record and pulls the signed offer from DocuSign.
- Interpret
It reads the offer and the documents the new starter sent, and checks the role, start date and location against what HR recorded.
- Chase
The hiring manager hasn't said which tools and groups the role needs. Floowed asks in the team's Slack channel, with the case attached, and takes the answer back from the thread.
- Decide
Your access rules run in a deterministic policy engine and set what the role gets. A request outside the rules goes to the IT owner to approve with a button in Slack.
- Act
Floowed assigns the approved groups in Okta, records the outcome on the case, and posts a summary in the thread for HR and the manager.
