THE DECISION PLATFORM

Outlook, ready to run

Choose. Adapt. Run.

The Outlook integration is where cases arrive. Floowed reads the mailbox your team already watches, takes the attachments off a message, chases what is missing by replying in the same thread, and posts the decision back.

THE INTEGRATION

What the Outlook integration does

Outlook is email and calendar. Floowed connects to it, reads what a decision needs, and puts the outcome back where your team already works. Nothing migrates and nothing is replaced.

Some of what we read from Outlook

  • Messages in the mailboxes your admin grants
  • Attachments, including the scans and photographs nobody else can parse
  • Replies to a question it asked, in the same thread

Some of what we write back to Outlook

  • The chase, as a reply in the thread the case came from
  • The decision and its reasoning, to whoever needs it
  • A message filed to the folder the outcome belongs in

Examples, not a list of limits. A decision can read anything the Outlook API exposes and write back wherever it allows it, so tell us what yours needs to see.

Worth telling your admin up front. A Graph mail permission covers every mailbox in the tenant unless it is deliberately narrowed, and Microsoft's current mechanism for narrowing it is RBAC for Applications, which replaced the older access policies. Scope it to the mailboxes the decision needs. We would rather you did, and we will ask.

THE LIBRARY

Decisions that run on Outlook

These are library flows, already built. Choose one, adapt it to your systems and your rules, and Floowed runs every case: reading and interpreting what arrives, chasing what is missing, and deciding what happens next.

  • Supplier onboardingProcurement
  • Employee offboardingPeople
  • Claims intakeInsurance
  • Customer onboardingBanking
  • Vendor risk reviewRisk
  • Credit limit increasesFinance
  • Tenant screeningReal estate
  • Contractor clearanceConstruction
  • Refunds and goodwillRetail
  • Loan approvalLending
  • Crew sign-onShipping
  • Property closing checksLegal

These are where Outlook comes up most. A decision is described rather than picked from a menu, so if yours is not here, it is a conversation rather than a no.

AND FURTHER

It goes further than Outlook

The same decisions reach the systems most platforms cannot. Core banking, credit bureaus, KYC providers and insurance cores have no app to install: they start with an agreement and credentials issued to you. Some are a modern OAuth API once you have them, others are SFTP, SOAP or mTLS. We connect whichever it turns out to be.

  • Notion
  • Sage
  • Experian
  • Equifax
  • Guidewire
  • SAP
  • Temenos
  • Salesforce
  • Mambu
  • Duck Creek
  • NetSuite
  • Plaid

Not listed is not the same as not possible. We connect over REST, OAuth, API keys, webhooks, SFTP, SOAP, mTLS and direct database reads, so if a system has an interface of any kind we can reach it. Ask us about the one you are worried about.

SETUP

How the Outlook integration connects

  1. Choose

Pick the decision from the library. It arrives already built, carrying what earlier runs taught it.

  2. Adapt

Connect Outlook using Microsoft Graph, as an app your admin scopes to named mailboxes, then set the rules and the gates to yours. You decide how much it decides.

  3. Run

Every case runs the same way, with the reasoning attached and a full audit trail. Anything sensitive waits for a person.

QUESTIONS

Outlook integration FAQ

Does Floowed integrate with Outlook?

Yes, through Microsoft Graph, as an application your admin consents to and scopes to the mailboxes it should see.

How does the Outlook integration connect?

Your admin grants consent, then narrows it with RBAC for Applications to the mailboxes involved. Without that step a mail permission reaches every mailbox in the tenant, which is far more than a decision needs.

What can Floowed do with Outlook data?

Most operational cases still start as an email with something attached. Floowed reads the message and the attachments, starts the case, and replies in the same thread when something is missing.

Do I need to build a workflow to use it?

No, and your rules keep running. Point a flow at the shared mailbox your team already watches.

Is my email secure?

Scope it to named mailboxes rather than the tenant, and check the tenant-wide grant is not left in place alongside it, because the two combine rather than cancel. Attachments are processed for the case and retained to the schedule you set, and consent is revocable in Microsoft Entra at any time.

What does the Outlook integration cost?

Nothing extra. Integrations are included, and you pay for the work Floowed does on a case.
