Stripe, ready to run.

The Stripe integration brings payment behavior into the decision. Floowed reads the charges, the disputes and the history behind a customer, applies your rules, and acts on the ones that qualify.

What it is
Stripe is a payments platform for taking card and other payments online, with billing, invoicing and dispute handling.
Connects by
A restricted API key you create in the Stripe Dashboard

What it does.

What Floowed reads from Stripe

  • Charges, payment intents and their outcomes
  • Customers, and the payment history behind them
  • Disputes and the evidence attached to them
  • Invoices, subscriptions and balance transactions

What it writes back

  • Dispute evidence submitted, or the dispute accepted, as your rules decide
  • A refund, where the rules allow one
  • Metadata recording the decision and its reasoning
  • An invoice or a credit note, where the decision creates one

Floowed connects with a restricted API key rather than your secret key. You choose None, Read or Write for each resource, so the key carries only what the case needs, and you can narrow or roll it from your Dashboard whenever you like.

A payment dispute case, from chargeback to evidence submitted.

  1. Gather

Stripe reports a new dispute. Floowed opens a case and pulls the charge, the customer and their payment history from Stripe, and the order from Shopify.

  2. Interpret

Floowed reads the dispute reason, the order, the delivery tracking from FedEx and the customer's support thread in Zendesk.

  3. Chase

Missing proof of delivery goes to the warehouse team in Slack or the Floowed Dashboard, with the evidence deadline attached.

  4. Decide

Your dispute rules run in the deterministic policy engine: contest or accept. A dispute that does not fit them goes to the payments lead to decide.

  5. Act

Floowed submits the evidence to Stripe, or accepts the dispute, records the outcome in the charge's metadata and notes it on the Zendesk ticket.

How it connects.

  1. 1

    Connect Stripe

Using a restricted API key you create in the Stripe Dashboard. Nothing migrates and nothing is replaced.

  2. 2

    Build your operation

Describe it in Slack, Teams or the Floowed Dashboard. Floowed builds it and asks only what it can’t work out.

  3. 3

    Let it run

Every case runs from request to outcome, the same way each time, with the reasons on record. Anything sensitive waits for a person.

Questions

Does Floowed integrate with Stripe?

Yes. The Stripe integration reads charges, customers, disputes and invoices, and can act on them where your rules allow.

How does the Stripe integration connect?

With a restricted API key you create in your Stripe Dashboard, set to Read or Write only on the resources the case needs. New disputes and payments reach Floowed as signed webhook events.

What can Floowed do with Stripe data?

Payment behavior is evidence. Floowed combines it with orders, documents and whatever else the case needs, then refunds, submits dispute evidence or escalates according to your rules.

Do I need to build anything to use it?

No. Describe the operation in the Floowed Dashboard, Slack or Microsoft Teams, connect Stripe, and set your rules and the point at which a person still decides.

Is my Stripe data secure?

The key is restricted to the permissions you grant and can be rolled or deleted from your Dashboard. Stripe's API never returns full card numbers, so they never reach us. Every case keeps a full record of what was read, decided and written.

What does the Stripe integration cost?

Nothing extra. Integrations are included, and you pay for the work Floowed does on a case. Start free with $80 of credits, no card and no sales call.
