Google offers two narrow ways to grant access. The drive.file scope covers only files a person picks for the app. A service account covers only what is shared with its address. Broad Drive sign-in scopes reach every file the person can see, so we use the service account: you share one folder or shared drive with it, and that share is the boundary. A shared drive belongs to the organization, so access survives the person who set it up leaving. It is also where anything we create has to live: Google's service accounts have no storage quota and can't own files in a My Drive folder.

A deal closes in HubSpot. Floowed opens the case with the deal and reads the customer's folder on the team's shared drive, where sales filed the signed order form and the customer's forms.
- Interpret
It reads the order form and the customer's documents, including scans, and checks the scope, billing entity and start date against the deal.
- Chase
The customer's tax form is missing. Floowed emails the customer contact from Gmail and asks the account executive to confirm the start date.
- Decide
Your handover rules run in a deterministic policy engine. A deal with non-standard terms goes to the delivery lead to decide.
- Act
Floowed creates the customer and the first invoice in Xero, opens the onboarding project in Jira, and files the handover record in the customer's folder on the shared drive.
