Two practical notes. We would rather be collaborated onto one folder than given access to your whole Box, and that is how Box's own server apps are meant to work: the app's service account starts with an empty folder tree and sees only what it is invited to. And metadata templates are created by a Box admin, so if you want the outcome stamped as metadata rather than filed as a document, your admin sets up the template once.
A contract renewal case, from notice to signed agreement.
- Gather
A renewal comes due in Salesforce. Floowed pulls the account and opens the customer's Box folder for the current contract, the last amendment and the insurance certificate.
- Interpret
It reads the contract, signed scans included, and pulls the notice period, the price terms and the certificate's expiry date.
- Chase
The certificate has expired, so Floowed asks the customer's contact for a current one by email and tells the account owner what is still open.
- Decide
The policy engine runs your renewal rules. A price change outside them goes to the finance lead, who decides.
- Act
Floowed sends the renewal for signature in DocuSign, files the signed copy and a decision record in the Box folder, and updates the opportunity in Salesforce.
