Floowed vs Stampli: Invoice Workflow or Wider Operations?

Floowed vs Stampli: Stampli is procure-to-pay, including payments. Floowed covers invoice intake, checks, chasing, approval and write-back, then the same case model for other departments. Use both when you need to pay.

Stampli is a procure-to-pay platform for AP, procurement, vendor management, payments and expenses. Floowed covers the invoice intake, document checking, chasing, approval and write-back workflow, then runs other operational cases such as supplier and client onboarding, employee onboarding and document approvals. Choose Stampli for dedicated procure-to-pay depth; choose Floowed when the same case platform must run processes across departments, or use both for payment execution.

Updated 6 November 2026. Stampli uses quote-based pricing. Floowed's price is on pricing.

Scope comparison

Only items Stampli lists on its pricing page, or that Floowed's own product pages describe, are marked. A blank is not a claim that the other product cannot do it.

An incomplete invoice, as an illustration

This is a made-up invoice, used to show the shape of the work. It is not a test result and it is not a customer story.

A supplier emails a PDF. The PO number is missing. The quantity does not match the receipt. The budget owner is out, and the supplier has not answered a question about the tax line.

On Stampli, the public product captures the invoice, matches it to the PO, and holds the conversation, including with the vendor, on the invoice. Direct Pay and the card are how Stampli says customers can pay.

On Floowed, the invoice opens a case. Floowed reads the PDF, pulls the PO and receipt from a connected system where that read exists, asks procurement for the missing PO, asks the supplier about the tax line, and asks the budget owner when they are back. Your approval rules decide. The approved result is written back to the accounting system the integration supports. Floowed does not pay the supplier.

If you need both the chase and the payment, use both. Floowed ends at the approved posting. Stampli or the ERP sends the money.

Pricing

Stampli uses quote-based pricing. Its quote covers AP, procurement, Direct Pay, a credit card and advanced vendor management.

Floowed includes 8,000 free credits worth $80, with no card and no expiry, and Team starts at $100 a month for 10,000 credits. Every feature and integration, API and MCP access are included. One dollar is 100 credits on every plan. See pricing. That price is for the case. It is not a payment fee, because Floowed does not pay.

Which systems stay

Keep the ERP or accounting system as the ledger. Floowed does not become the ledger.

  • NetSuite. The verified connection can read vendors, bills, purchase orders and receipts, and can create a vendor bill or store a file when the case clears. See NetSuite.
  • QuickBooks. The verified connection can read customers, vendors, invoices, bills and payments, and can write a customer or vendor update, a note, an attachment, or an invoice or credit memo when the decision creates one. It does not send the payment. See QuickBooks.

Stampli publishes its own ERP connectors. Keep the ERP or accounting system as the ledger either way.

When each one is the better fit

Choose Stampli when the purchase is procure-to-pay: AP, procurement, vendor management, discussions on the invoice, and paying suppliers from that platform.

Choose Floowed when invoice approval is one recurring case among others. The same platform should onboard suppliers and clients, collect employee documents, and approve other document-driven work, with versioned rules and a write-back. You still need somewhere else to pay.

Use both when you want Floowed to chase the incomplete invoice and Stampli, or the ERP, to execute the payment.

Frequently asked questions

Does Floowed replace Stampli?

No. Stampli is a procure-to-pay platform, including payments, procurement and vendor management. Floowed covers intake, document checks, chasing, approval and write-back, then uses that case model outside finance. It does not pay suppliers.

Does Stampli only remind approvers?

No. Stampli's pricing page lists built-in discussions, including with vendors, plus invoice capture and PO matching. Treating it as a reminder tool would be wrong.

Can the two run together?

Yes. Floowed can run the case up to an approved write-back. Stampli or your ERP executes the payment. Do not expect Floowed to post a field the specific integration does not support. NetSuite and QuickBooks are described above from their verified connection pages.

What does Stampli cost?

Stampli does not publish a dollar price. The pricing page is a request to talk to their team. Floowed publishes its price: 8,000 free credits worth $80, and Team from $100 a month for 10,000 credits.

Is Floowed an accounts payable platform?

For the operational flow of an invoice, yes: intake, checks, chasing, approval and write-back. It is not the payment platform, the vendor portal, the procurement suite or the ledger. The wider list of invoice tools is invoice approval software.
