Plaid, ready to run.
The Plaid integration lets a case check bank accounts with the account holder's consent. Floowed reads the balances, transactions and identity data Plaid returns after the customer links an account, checks them against your rules, and shows a person the evidence.
What it does.
What Floowed reads from Plaid
- Account and routing numbers from Plaid Auth
- Account holder name, email and address from Identity
- Balances and transaction history
- Asset and income data, where your Plaid account includes them
What it writes back
- A request for the customer to link their bank through Plaid Link
- The returned data, attached to the case as evidence
- A flag when the account holder, balance or income does not match your rules
A common Plaid operation is verifying a payout account: Floowed compares the Identity name to the name on the case before any money moves. Which data is available depends on the Plaid products enabled on your account. Results are evidence for a person to review, and access runs under your own agreement with Plaid.
How it connects.
- 1
Connect Plaid
Using its API, under your own agreement. Nothing migrates and nothing is replaced.
- 2
Build your operation
Describe it in Slack, Teams or the Floowed Dashboard. Floowed builds it and asks only what it can’t work out.
- 3
Let it run
Every case runs from request to outcome, the same way each time, with the reasons on record. Anything sensitive waits for a person.
Questions
Does Floowed integrate with Plaid?
Yes. Floowed connects to Plaid's API under your own agreement, and the customer links their account through Plaid Link before anything is read.
What can Floowed do in Plaid?
It asks the customer to link a bank account, reads account numbers, identity, balances and transactions, and checks them against your rules for a person to review.
Is my Plaid data secure?
Floowed only gets the access it needs in Plaid, never stores a password, and logs every read and write with the reason. Results are evidence a person can review, and access runs under your own agreement with the provider.
What does the Plaid integration cost?
Nothing extra. Integrations are included in every plan, and you only pay for the work your operations do.
