The decision platform

What slows you down.

The decision itself is rarely the hard part. Getting to the point where it can be made is where the week goes. Five things account for most of that, and the sixth is whatever we have missed.

Chasing

Getting hold of what is missing.

The document that never arrived, the signature that never came back, and the week spent asking for both.

Your rules say what a case needs, so the case knows what it is still missing and asks while the file is being built, not on the day it was meant to be decided. Nobody has to hold in their head who was asked for what.

The same whether it is a supplier's insurance certificate, a reference on a new hire, or a repair estimate on a claim.

Two gates still open, both asked for on day one rather than on the day it was due.

Reading

Reading what does arrive.

Photographed, handwritten, scanned, or in a format nothing parses.

Floowed reads it where it is. Every value it pulls carries the page it came off, so it can be checked rather than trusted, and nothing has to be asked for again in a format that happens to suit us.

The same on a handwritten delivery note, a certificate scanned inside a PDF, or a payslip shot at an angle on somebody's phone.

Page 4 never arrived. The case says so, and asks for it.

What was not declared

Finding what nobody declared.

The obligation, the related party or the prior claim that was never on the form.

A declaration is one input, not the answer. Floowed reads the evidence underneath it and checks documents and outside sources against each other, so what disagrees with the form surfaces as a finding with its source, rather than a number to be taken on trust.

The same shape as a supplier sharing a director with one already on the book, or a claim history that starts before the policy.

Consistency

Getting the same answer every time.

The same case decided differently depending on who picked it up, and on how busy that week happened to be.

You write the rules and the rules run. Every gate, threshold and band is yours to set. Agents do the work of gathering and reading, the rules make the decision, and you choose how much of it Floowed may settle on its own.

It matters most where two people can each be reasonable and still disagree, which is every desk with a queue on it.

Two months, so both desks now read Refer, on the quiet Tuesday and on the week the volume triples.

Evidence

Showing why you decided.

Reconstructing the reasons months later, when whoever decided has moved on.

Every gate that was checked, what it was checked against and where each number came from stays on the case. So does the version of your rules that ran, which means a decision made in March reads against the rules as they stood in March.

The same file answers an audit, a disputed settlement, a challenged clearance, or an award reopened in review.

Something else

Something else entirely.

If the thing that slows you down is not one of the five above, it is the one we most want to hear about.

Describe it the way you would brief a new joiner. Floowed recognises the shape, starts you from what that decision usually needs, and asks about the parts you did not think to mention. Nothing runs until you publish it yourself.

Floowed was built for lending and turned out not to be lending machinery. The same five phases run wherever evidence has to be gathered, read, chased, decided on and acted upon.

When a new haulier signs on we check the operator licence, the insurance, and that every driver they list holds a current entitlement.

That is a flow, and it usually needs these before anyone can sign it off.
